It is with a huge amount of pleasure and a dollop of trepidation that Jo is embarking on a new venture in life.

Having enjoyed 11 fabulous years whizzing around the globe as a Formula One event manager, Jo has packed away her events folder, picked up her sketch book and pens and is now relishing the creative delights of being the illustrator that she’s always dreamed of.

With 2 wonderful parents and an older brother, Jo grew up in the south of England before lapping up every minute of uni life at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where she studied French and Drama.

Jo now lives and works in Oxfordshire where her attic studio is normally lit with beautiful sunshine and packed full of the latest dancing giraffe, naughty elf or love forlorn chick...

Drawing from as long as she can remember, Jo has always loved cartoons and creating characters. She grew up on Hagar the Horrible, the wonderful Rolf Harris, the unforgettable Tony Hart and Quentin Blake’s fabulous creations for Roald Dahl…. not forgetting the Bash Street kids and all the rest of the Beano gang!

She’s been fortunate enough to combine her art with every job role and to her delight, her designs have always been warmly received with huge smiles….pleasing the cheekiest of boys, the cutest of girls, newly weds, proud grandmothers, mummies to be… even melting the hardest of manly hearts!

Jo loves everything pretty, colourful and fun. Long walks through the countryside or by the sea, catching up with friends and family over long delicious dinners and an odd glass of red wine, all feature highly on the love list, along with her beautiful husband …her soul mate and her rock.
